An AI safety camera mounted on a warehouse column, watching the floor below
AI camera monitoring · worker safety

Cameras that watch for danger, not people.

A second set of eyes for PPE gaps, forklift zones, falls and lone-worker check-ins — faces blurred by default.

Concept product. Built with workers, not on them — see Privacy & consent.

The problem

Walkthroughs catch what someone happened to see.

One safety lead can't watch every aisle at once. Most near-misses never get written down.

01

PPE gaps go unlogged

A helmet comes off between walkthroughs; nobody notices.

02

Forklift aisles mix traffic

Painted lines don't stop a blind-corner step.

03

Lone workers go unwatched

A night-shift fall can go unnoticed until the next check-in.

A safety manager holding a tablet that shows a live forklift exclusion zone

A zone breach reaches the safety lead in seconds — not at the next walkthrough.

How it works

Three steps. No new habits for the floor.

Foresite runs on the cameras you have, watching defined zones only.

01

Mark the zones

Draw the forklift aisle and guard line on a floor plan once.

02

On-device detection

Checks for PPE, zone entries and falls. Faces blurred by default.

03

The right alert, fast

A breach pages the safety lead in seconds. Everything else is a shift digest.

What it watches for

Built around the hazards that hurt people.

PPE gap detection

Flags a missing helmet or vest and how long the gap lasted.

Danger-zone intrusion

Watches forklift aisles for anyone stepping in while equipment runs.

Man-down & fall detection

Recognizes a fall that doesn't resolve and raises it immediately.

Lone-worker check-ins

A missed check-in escalates to a named contact, not a log.

Face blur by default

Every clip blurs faces unless one incident review logs a reason.

Shift safety digest

One summary per shift for the safety lead, never a per-worker score.

Why this, why now

The hazards are documented. Detection is proven in research.

Who it's for

Three floors, three reasons to watch.

EHS manager, precast plant

One safety lead, two shifts

Needs to know the moment a hard-hat zone is breached near the pour line.

Ops director, 3PL warehouse

18 forklifts, mixed foot traffic

Wants blind aisle corners watched for insurer logs, not worker speed.

Owner, steel fab shop

One welder, alone on nights

Wants a check-in timer that pages someone if he goes quiet.

Questions

Privacy and consent, answered directly.

Do workers know what's watched?+

Yes. Every zone is posted with plain language on what it checks and who sees an alert. No silent monitoring.

Are faces stored or identified?+

Blurred by default, everywhere. No facial-recognition profiles. A clip unblurs only with a logged reason tied to a real incident.

Does it score how hard someone works?+

No. Only the safety conditions a site configures — PPE, zones, falls, check-ins. Never pace or output.

Who sees alerts?+

Only roles named at setup — usually the safety lead and a supervisor. Workers get their own transparency view.

What cameras do we need?+

Most existing IP or PoE cameras with a clear zone view. Placement guidance for gaps is still being finalized.

Does it guarantee catching every hazard?+

No system can, and we won't claim it does. It's a second set of eyes, not a substitute for training or supervision.

Pilots prioritize sites with a named safety lead and a zone they'd want watched day one.
